Introduction

​Dr. Faustinus C. Onyirimba, MD, MRCP, FCCP, is a board-certified physician specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He practices at Northeastern Pulmonary Associates in Vernon, Connecticut, providing dedicated care to residents of northeastern Connecticut and neighboring communities. 

Dr. Onyirimba earned his medical degree from the University of Nigeria, Enugu. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington. ​

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Onyirimba serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and Quinnipiac University. He is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents at Manchester Memorial Hospital and its affiliate, Rockville General Hospital. ​

Dr. Onyirimba holds the position of chairman of pulmonary and critical care medicine at Eastern Connecticut Health Network. He is a member of both the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians. Beyond his professional commitments, he is the president of COMM International, an organization dedicated to providing medical care to underserved communities in Guatemala and Peru.
