Introduction

Dr. M. Saud Anwar is a physician, public servant, and community leader with a career dedicated to healing and service. Board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary, critical care, and hospice and palliative care medicine, Dr. Anwar has been at the forefront of patient care for over two decades. Beyond the clinical setting, he serves as a Connecticut State Senator, where he advocates for public health, environmental justice, and social equity.

Dr. Anwar is also internationally recognized for his humanitarian efforts, including disaster relief missions and interfaith initiatives aimed at fostering understanding and cooperation. His unique ability to bridge medicine and policy has made him a respected voice on issues ranging from healthcare access to crisis response.
